With its numerous repetitions, the Holy Rosary is
both one of the “simplest” and most demanding prayers. Quite a few people
struggle with boredom, dryness, and distraction, or give up before even
reaching the first “Hail Mary.” A series of reflections during the month of
October, dedicated to the Rosary, aims to help us pray the mysteries of the
Rosary with ever greater love and joy.
If the Blessed Mother lived next door, or at least close enough that we could always see her and visit her... see her smile, hold her hands... spend time personally with her, our heavenly Mother—wouldn't that be wonderful
How patient she is, listening to all my requests and concerns every day! And she can advise and help me better than any other person...
Conversely, almost all of us know the one request,
the “great” wish of the Blessed Mother: that we should pray the Rosary every
day. A personal invitation – will we accept it? Now, in the Rosary month of
October, let us begin (at the latest)! The following reflections may help us to
do so.
